Rewatching the Clemson/UGA game. It was a tight 6-0 game at halftime. UGA came out and outscored Clemson 28-3 in the second half. Numerous times the announcers comment on what UGA came into the game wanting to do or hoping to do but adjusted at halftime based on what Clemson's D did in the first half.

Has Beamer ever made an in-game adjustment? Not being sarcastic.

What's that?
I'm beginning to doubt there is any pre-game planning on our part.

There certainly did not appear to be any pre-game preparation, at least I hope not. I hope that's now how we look when we're prepared.

And there is zilcho for in-game adjustments. The only adjustment we make is trying harder at what isn't working. Runs up the middle not working? We're gonna run ever more up the middle. Kirby doesn't screw around? You take that away? Fine, we'll do this instead.

Wasn't that the big knock on Muschamp? He was stubborn and wouldn't change the offense even though it wasn't scoring. There is a ton of Muschamp hate from Carolina fans but the on field results with Beamer don't point to much improvement.

We are not allowed to make halftime adjustments. It may mess up the gameplan. It just introduces too many variables.

I sat here in the 1st quarter and watched them run the ball every play on their 2nd drive (the TD was technically the 1st drive). I texted my buddy at the game and said, "I guarantee they pass every play on the next series." He told me to relax. We wen't 3-out after 3 straight passes. If an imbecile like me can figure out what they are going to do, imagine what a real coach can do!?!
