He also gave the best, most genuine portrayal of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ ever to grace the screen. Donald is the master craftsman of his craft.
I thought Jim Caviezel was the best portrayal of Jesus I had ever seen in the Passion of the Christ. He had me convinced ..........that was what Jesus looked like and acted like in his life. My first movie to see Donald Sutherland in was Kelly's Hero's which was a really fun to watch film.
Great in Buffy the Vampire Hunter. He saw it was campy humor and Rutger and Pee Wee followed his lead. Pee Wee stole every scene he was in. Not everything has to be a work of fine art to be enjoyable
He’s also been credited as the main reason that Animal House got filmed.
But he should have taken the royalties
