Not for his blatant cheating on the field....yet, just his unethical recruiting during the Covid years.

Yeah, kind of, Jimmy ran away because he knew it was coming, and this is the chance for the big bad NCAA to show their muscle when they know It wonāt matter. This is like sentencing a dead person to jail.....completely meaningless

Those teams would be looking at that anyway, the Michigan shenanigans were well-known regardless of this "punishment".Slightly different opinion: We've seen college coaches go to the NFL and flame out. Should Harbaugh do so and IF the NCAA sticks to its guns, he may be somewhat toxic if he tries to return to the college level. Maybe there are teams willing to accept his baggage, but those teams would be well-advised to look at his win-loss record prior to Mr. Stalions' involvement.

Even if Harbaugh flames out with the Chargers, he would just do broadcasting for as long as necessary before getting back into coaching at a mid-major out west.
I can't begin to imagine how awkward he would be as a broadcaster. Those teams would be looking at that anyway, the Michigan shenanigans were well-known regardless of this "punishment".

The thing is, Harbaugh has already shown himself to be able to win in the NFL - with San Fran. So, I don't think he will "flame out" like Saban, Spurrier or Wilkinson did.Good points. The "mid-major" scenario is a possibility if the NCAA "forgets" to enforce their edict or (more likely) continues on its path to irrelevance.

The show-cause is a limp penalty as it is, and only for 4 years.Good points. The "mid-major" scenario is a possibility if the NCAA "forgets" to enforce their edict or (more likely) continues on its path to irrelevance.
Whatever skills Jimmy might have, he is a shake-your-head cluster giving a response to a 10 second question in a presser.I can't begin to imagine how awkward he would be as a broadcaster.
Iād be better at conducting an orchestra than JH would be as a broadcaster.I can't begin to imagine how awkward he would be as a broadcaster.
Jimmy been a HC in the pros. No flaming outSlightly different opinion: We've seen college coaches go to the NFL and flame out. I have a theory that poster is actually a regular here under another handle who likes to stir shiit upCurious where the blow-hard Michigan poster is that was here last year saying all this was a pile of poop?
I sorta kinda figured heād be cricket-like.
Well I guess it matters if he ever wants to coach in college again. He and Petey CarrollYeah, kind of, Jimmy ran away because he knew it was coming, and this is the chance for the big bad NCAA to show their muscle when they know It wonāt matter.
We shall see.The thing is, Harbaugh has already shown himself to be able to win in the NFL - with San Fran. So, I don't think he will "flame out" like Saban, Spurrier or Wilkinson did.
We have posters here who would bring him to PSU tomorrow
Show-cause is immediate. One year suspension begins during the show-cause period, if a school can surmount it.Questions: does the punishment begin today or does it begin upon a return to NCAA coaching with no expiration?
Remember when the NFL recognized Terrell Prior's NCAA suspension? This is like sentencing a dead person to jail.....completely meaningless
There's a little part of me that wants to see it happen.Whatever skills Jimmy might have, he is a shake-your-head cluster giving a response to a 10 second question in a presser.
If placed in a studio, he would make Stephen A, Lee Corso, Herbie - and whatever other numbskulls permeate current sports "studio world" - look like savants in comparison.
Its a pile of poop. How does this negatively affect Michigan's program in any way?Curious where the blow-hard Michigan poster is that was here last year saying all this was a pile of poop?

You guys are the effing laughing stock of college football. That's how. Since most things are out in the open, what was up with coach Matt Weis? Why was he fired and why was the FBI brought into the investigation? Go back to your echo chamber blaming Warde for everything instead of that scumbag cheater Harbaugh. Its a pile of poop. How does this negatively affect Michigan's program in any way?
So between Penn State and Michigan, Michigan is a bigger laughingstock? Oh boyYou guys are the effing laughing stock of college football. That's how. Since most things are out in the open, what was up with coach Matt Weis? Why was he fired and why was the FBI brought into the investigation?
All of you idiots at the Fort thought that Harbaugh would sue the NCAA for this? He was so freaking cheap that he expensed an illegal lunch and that put it on record to do him in. What an tool!So between Penn State and Michigan, Michigan is a bigger laughingstock? Oh boy
Then, he cared about Michigan so much he gutted what was left of the coaches and staff that wasn't fired for cheating purposes and took them with him to the NFL. What a UM hero!So between Penn State and Michigan, Michigan is a bigger laughingstock? Oh boy
If he wants to coach college football he will coach college football whenever he wants and wherever he wants. He told them to f off. You can do that when you're Jim Harbaugh. All of you idiots at the Fort thought that Harbaugh would sue the NCAA for this? Yeah, maybe he can get the case put before Judge Judy to drop the show clause and 1 year suspension. If he wants to coach college football he will coach college football whenever he wants and wherever he wants. He told them to f off. You can do that when you're Jim Harbaugh.
