Lakeland Dr in Flowood. They, along with MRA & Prep have been investing heavily in football the last 5-10 years.Where's Hartfield and what State are they in?
Come a long way from the old UCS. No longer just a landing spot for behavior problems kicked out of NWR.
No respect for the OG Brandon Academy… **Come a long way from the old UCS. No longer just a landing spot for behavior problems kicked out of NWR.
Mais needs to be dissolved and make them play against other schools and have a real playoffs for a championshipBig things happen when you win those 2 grueling playoff games for a state champeenship!!!
B A... my brother played thereNo respect for the OG Brandon Academy… **
(now the young ‘uns are wondering “Brandon had an academy?”)
In a twist of irony, the old BA was bought by the public school district and turned into the “alternative school” where they send behavior problems. No respect for the OG Brandon Academy… **

No. It doesn't. It has its purpose which is far different than the original purpose. but very few MAIS programs could compete even in the lower levels. It gives marginal athletes in the smaller communities the opportunity to play sports competitively.Mais needs to be dissolved and make them play against other schools and have a real playoffs for a championship
The MAIS needs to stop being scared of offending people and go back to the original name, MPSA.Mais needs to be dissolved and make them play against other schools and have a real playoffs for a championship
How Christian of him. Did he also change to Methodist, Presbyterian or Episcopal?Aw yeah, University Christian has come a long way since joining forces with Pinelake.
Money plays.
Too bad their BIG money donor pulled his boy and is now at MRA.

Huh? I think you misread the comment buddy. I read yours and I said huh? That has nothing to do with what i said.I heard that. Most of that particular family's kids are at MRA now. Good family and great dawgs.

But feel free to explain the particular family part. I’ve never heard of that one, I’m all ears. I’m not a Hartfield nor a pine lake fan and i think your comment is pretty funny.
Join the club with a lot of the public school kids. Mais or whatever is like conf USA or when UCF went undefeated and was beating their chest. Winning a weak conference and winning 2 games to win a state championship is like claiming to be the tallest midget. Play against some real competition and more than 8 same schools. Do like most states. Step it up and get better playing against public schoolsNo. It doesn't. The top MAIS teams are better than they used to be. They're investing a lot in football and recruiting more than ever. Looking at MS Scoreboard's Metro Elite 11, Hartfield had like 4 players on it (who don't look like the overwhelming majority of Hartfield students). I watched Prep play West Jones last year and came away pretty impressed with Prep. Put them in 4A MHSAA (about where they'd be based on size) and they'd be strongly competing for championships.Mais needs to be dissolved and make them play against other schools and have a real playoffs for a championship
They need to do that. They do in AL and many other states.. The top MAIS division is a joke, and we all know it. It's like a travel ball tournament between the same 6 teams over and over. Can you imagine Trinity in Louisville, KY only playing private school ball? UMS Wright in Mobile? IMG?The top MAIS teams are better than they used to be. University of Pineapple, I mean Pinelake in Flowood, MS USAWhere's Hartfield and what State are they in?
Is that where you store your extra big screens?
Pick a school. Any school any classification from Alabama. You will get your *** beat.
The private schools in Alabama have a huge advantage. They can recruit, yes recruit, the whole state. Whereas public schools can not. They do to some extent within their local community but not enough to risk getting in trouble with the AHSAA.They need to do that. They do in AL and many other states.. Of course, that's what modern day Jackson Metro parents and kids have grown up doing, so maybe they think they've accomplished something.
