When you say ties to the program, are you simply saying that they give to the Bulldog Club and / or they are a season ticket holder? I'm not saying that's incorrect or correct, just wondering if that's how you are defining that.

I thought the rumor was ******** as well and that is why I phrased my original post as an inquiry. the rumor actually was stansbury has resigned and the NCAA was on its way to lay down the hammer on our basketball program.

plus since this board encourages the posting of rumors I thought I would pass that one along to generate something else to talk about than (17) polk in every thread

I think that until Rick signs a new contract there will be all sorts of "rumors" out there.

It seems to me that there always are when one of Sextons guys are involved in a job search or contract renogiations.

Rick has not used Jimmy Sexton since the Templeton debacle. It was out of necessity at the time. I think he will be happy to simply be treated fairly and with dignity which didn't happen with the last AD and some on this board as well.
