Has anyone heard if the sound system will be ready for SE Louisiana?**

..considering the cabinet that's to house the sound system hasn't even
been constructed... nigh, all the holes even dug for the support
columns that will hold it aloft. At this point I am extremely
skeptical the board will be finished by the Auburn game.

I've talked to the guy that put in the sound system they're using now. They're having him come out and work on the current sound system, so he's under the impression it will be at least until the new board is up before the new sound is in as well.

on a side note, he provided some insight into why the sound isn't all that great.

first off, lt gave them a shoestring budget and a bunch of old speakers to work with

and second, they don't use the equipment the way it was set up to be used/refused to spend the money to add minor adjustments to make the equipment work better.

he said Hank Flick has a separate booth inside the pressbox because he yells into the mic (big surprise) and no one up there wants to listen to him.

in an Ag. community that`s committed to a hell of a lot of corn. We`ve got some sphincter muscles girded quite tightly in my neck of the woods right about now.

I love it because we have alot of late corn and soybeans and it is looking like maybe the best crop we have had in our 3 generations on the farm.
