that guy has started 845 straight games and Croom still hasn't figured out he sux. And why the hell were we punting that last time anyway. That was almost as bad as when we punted against Maine with a minute to go.

You should never play this game as the opener, but you still shouldn't lose it. Our O-line is horrible-- how hard is it to pick up a blitz? Our QB play is horrible. Our return teams are awful. Our Punter is the worst in the country.

We just cost ourselves any shot at a bowl game, but frankly, I'll be surprises if we win 4.

The LaTech guy looked around and thought surely that was not a ball that just hit me I'm only 10 yards past the line

after all, he had to withstand the road game pressure of the WAC in Ruston tonight. What did you expect?

Hell I felt worse for the poor guy from LaTech than I did McAdams, no way he thought he was far enough down field to get hit in the back

But I feel confident saying:

Blake McAdams is the worst Division I-A punter in modern college football history.

It is unfathomable to me how a guy can practice nothing but punting the @!#*+*+ ball and be that bad at it.

about the guy that was supposed to handle kick off duties never went to the trainer all week and showed up last night and said he was hurt?

Somebody should have beaten the hell out of that guy. I mean, ****, I can't get made at McAdams because he sucks. He always will suck. Sort of like Henig. ****, it's the coaches that keep putting him out there.

Croom said just what you did. Richards hadn't been to the trainer since Monday, then comes up and says he has an injury and can't kick. Croom didn't sound happy about it. Interesting, wonder what kind of career Richards will have? He has been injured before. Man, kickers are hard to figure sometimes.

Richards was still no. 2 on the depth chart for this game so I don't have any reason to believe that McAdams wasn't going to punt regardless.

#2 punter and #2 placekicker since about halfway through camp. My take was Croom may have wanted an option to punt and someone to kick a long FG if the opportunity arose. The opportunity to punt was there tonight, McAdams really struggled. Croom was left without that option because they didn't know about the injury.

Two years ago, his punts only traveled 16 yards in the air. Today, they had to bounce back 10 yards first.

15 point loss in 96 (down 29 with two minutes left)

8 point loss tonight

this shouldn't be a surprise.
