Have the Cocks ever had a better 5 days-in-a-row, sports wise?

Thursday WBB Beat Klemsin 109-49
Friday MBB Beat DePaul 73-68
Saturday FOOTBALL Beat Kentucky 17-14
Sunday MBB Beat Grand Canyon U 75-68 (Arizona Tip-Off Championship)
Monday WBB Beat South Dakota St 78-38
And all the games were televised.

I would think that this would qualify for ... how do they say it??? ... "being on a roll"

I see that Tusi21 has difficulty with reading comprehension and spelling isn't YOUR forte.

Do ALL Sunshine Pumpers have learning disabilites?
Do you have a loser mentality. During those years we had more than 5 consecutive days of success. Give yer balls a tug.

If you didn't post so much, folks wouldn't know how stupid you really are, TATER!
Did you come out of the womb 6 days ago and this is the most winning you've seen? It's nice but not really what you're bragging about.

It was an excellent time but marred by losing to Stanford in the second round of women’s soccer playoffs

No, he read you correctly. He just has this issue with the Women's Basketball Team being successful and takes a shot at them at every opportunity. He has this fallacy in his head that the pennies on the dollar we spend on WBB can buy us a National Championship in football. I don't think he got the memo that University dollars and NIL are not related.

You've been reading my message wrong then. Take the recourses from the womens sports and put that to football & basketball recruiting. Become serious about winning.

Carolina IS serious about winning. Serious about winning women's basketball. Some serious "tallest pygmy in the jungle" thinking going on in my opinion.

I agree no one cares about it but ALL the money can't go to football. Title IX forces schools to waste lots of money on women's sports.

and we will still be 6-6 sir. We need to make better coaching decisions. We will never outspend a Georgia or a Texas A&M, but we are at least a Top 20 team in spending for the sports that you want to be successful. The coaches we have hired have just not gotten it done. Frank Martin got it done one year, but his stubbornness and inability to adjust with the times got him fired and has our MBB where it is. In football, we only had a 4-5 year run with a coach that viewed us as his retirement job. Make better decisions and we don't get used like that. It's decisions, not money.

No, you don't care about it. Apparently, the fans that fill Colonia Life for the Women's Games disagree with you. Where are all you people that only care about Football and Basketball for the men when its time to show up for the games. I support the Men's Basketball team. I bet you are not there. Beamer is begging the students to stay at the football games right now. A lot of fans are all talk. They have no idea what it really takes to win.

That's the other problem. My message is hypothetical. Liberals ****** this up for us.
So, you are blaming our countless array of 6-6 and 5-7 seasons in football on liberals. Come on man. LOL!!!! We've been losing since the fifties. Ironically, our best period in football was during the Obama Administration. So, what did he have to do with it exactly. You refuse to put the blame where it lies. With us. I know. It's hard to look in the mirror and say "I" or "We" have to do better. It's easier to blame those "others" that are messing everything up.

Another message to the "Liberals mess up everything" crowd and I will get off my soapbox. Title IX applies to everyone. So, the money we save by getting rid of the women's programs would be saved by all of the other programs that are subject to that legislation. Therefore, Georgia has more money. Texas A&M has more money. Florida has more money and they still outspend us. Get that simple math? So, this attempt to lay blame on the ineptness of our male sports programs on Title IX, and more specifically, our Women's Basketball Program is scapegoating to deflect from the real reasons these programs are not successful.

No, I am realistic. I know that the couple million dollars we spend on Women's Programs won't change anything. I just zero in on your envy for our WBB program. We spend the same money, ratio wise, that we spent in the 80's (Time I was in school) when that program was just okay. Spent the same money ratio wise when we were terrible in the 90's before Dawn Staley got here. We got lucky. Made an excellent hire and now we win. That is how it's done. Not by throwing money at it.

I can't speak for Tusi but I look at it this way. Carolina fans care, very deeply, about women's basketball, so do UConn fans and Tennessee fans used to when they were on top but no one else really cares about women's basketball or women's sports in general. Even Carolina fans know where women's basketball fits into sports overall. You never see any Carolina fans at a football game taunting another team who is beating us or has beaten us with "Oh yeah! Wait until we get you on the women's basketball floor!!".

You don't see any fans at our football games either taunting the fans from other programs talking about wait until we get you in men's basketball either. For one, we don't win enough to taunt anyone. Also, many fans of WBB are not football fans and vice versa. The men that are just supporters of the school, and not just sports programs, want to see us win in anything. We are going to field a Women's Basketball Team. May as well win while we are at it.

Maybe if we had that couple more million we could. It's science.
I see you are trolling or either are about 21 as your handle suggests. No grown man can have such a lack of understanding for the facts. Dude, the money is going to be spent on Women's Sports whether we win or lose. It has been mandated that we spend this money since 1972. We didn't starting winning in WBB until the last 15 years or so.

Clemson had an $80million slush fund they decided to start pouring into football coaches and recruiting. Look what happened. I can't believe you're not getting this.

LOL, don't show your lack of knowledge like this. How many fired coaches do we have on the payroll right now along with overpaying for a coach with no Head Coaching experience? Spending money on coaches is not the issue. Spending money on Football period is not the issue. We have and spend plenty of money. It's the people making the choices with that money that have been the issue.

Please, either clarify or amend your comment. I am having difficulty accepting that an educated individual would publicly make such a comment, especially on a sports board. However, if that is how you truly feel, let me know and I promise to back-off and never bother you. We just do not agree.

Edit: i am not the OP.

The differences among colleges and uni's make this an interesting question. It is truly worth discussing for both genders! There are really just so many sports now that generate zero revenue and serve no apparent purpose, and collectively take substantial resources from the school. Edit: I am mostly talking about small colleges which often have a huge % of athletes.

A full house of excited fans pulling for the women’s bb team says you don’t know when to shut up. The fans who came to celebrate their champion’s events says , unlike you, they do care. I saw full houses for women’s gymnastics at UGA back in the day and they cared for women’s sports.
