I think we are all afraid to look this up 
With that in mind, there aren’t too many years to check. About half of the Spurrier years plus a few others.
I know basketball is not comparable, but the ladies streak of 17-18 straight ranked opponents is incredible. And they will play anybody, anywhere. So much fun.

consecutively without teams in between? Or like a streak versus ranked opponents at any time
I ask bc we beat ohio state to end the 2000 season and then beat georgia and miss state in early 2001 season, all ranked before we ended up losing to tennessee in 2001 (the next ranked opponent after miss state)
I think there are multiple instances of us beating 3 or more ranked teams without losing. But yeah I’m not sure we’ve ever done it consecutively without unranked teams in between
One example is 2013- we beat no.5 Mizzou, No.6 Clemson and No. 19 Wisconsin with no losses in between but they weren’t consecutive games
