Have we ever seen OL play progressively improve throughout the season?

That was 16 years ago. Those guys are now almost 40 years old. Been a long time since we've had a reliable OL.
Man, that's a long time. I'm married with 3 kids now. Hadn't event met my wife 16 years ago.
Why is this such a hard thing for us to figure out? Why can't we figure this thing out? It can't just be coaching or personnel. We've gone through multiple coaches and scores of players.
