Hear Ye! Hear Ye!!! Cream Talk by Stallion - Week 1

Good evening Six Packers!!! As with any recipe that requires something to congeal, the cream in the Cream Rankings is no different. The heavy gelatinous material tends to always find its way to the bottom and the lighter tastier part of the cream just keeps on rising. You could say the middle part down to the bottom had some serious turnover, but that isn't to anyone's surprise, certainly not the Stallion's. The Stallion's cream crystal ball was clouded by the maroon and white influence of the board in the rankings, but his statements were very accurate on many of the teams in the preseason. Yes, I am referring to your beloved Bulldogs. I predicted a 2-2 start at best and now I feel 1-3 would be the most likely outcome. And then Petrino thought he was getting another relapse of Atlanta, when he ran into the juggernaut of the Leathernecks. Very embarrassing debut, Coach Petrino. But enough with the negativity because the sun did rise again with a nice purple and gold tint (at least from my window) on Sunday morning. Yes if that Tiger QB situation can get lined out, the cream may have a shift at the top. However, the mighty Gators did nothing to change the Stallion's mind this weekend. Another impressive prediction by the Stallion was last week's prediction of King Saban adding his dab of cream growth to the recipe with a strong performance in that measly conference to the East. Unfortunately week 1 won't include the Big Orange Rocky Top victory on the west coast, but the Stallion feels confident that Fulmer will have a victory Cold Stone cake batter flavored ice cream cone after the big win. If he is really celebrating, he may blow out the In-N- Out Burger joint while he is in LA. And now for the Week 1 rankings:
 
1) Florida - Tebow and company hula danced all over the Rainbow Warriors…yes they dropped the rainbow, but are they really any less fruity by the way they play football.
 2) LSU - Cut the TO's out and play for 4 quarters, the Tigers will be for real. Unfortunately, the Stallion feels they are a Ryan Perriloux away from winning the National Championship. 
3) Georgia - A la my beloved Tigers, UGA decided to not show up in the second half.
 4) Alabama - Whoa Nellie, let me tell you about A-LA-BAMA. Look out SEC, the Tide is rolling and I am not talking about Gustav.
 5) Auburn - Did nothing to impress the Stallion, even though they prevented ULM from putting up another billboard.
 6) South Carolina - Better get that QB situation straightened out Ole Ball Coach if you don't want a repeat of 2007.
 7) Tennessee - No need for comment, but they will win.
 8) Kentucky - The 'Cats made a very nice jump in this week's rankings. If that defense continues to play like that this year, they may sneak up and beat a couple of good SEC squads.
 9) Ole Miss - Impressive debut for the Nutters. They usually squeeze a win out over the Memphis Tigers, but Nutt knows how to win games that they are supposed to win. 
10) Vanderbilt - No. 10 by mere default.
 11) Arky - Could it be that Arky State is the best team in the state…I am not going that far just yet. The season is still young.
 12) Miss. St. - When are premature contract extensions going to stop? I think it is safe to say you just don' t walk into Ruston and come away as victors….yea whatever! Hot Boudin Award - The "Saban Worshippers" are fired up in Tuscaloosa and the SEC better be ready for the improvement. Julio Jones is the real deal and that classic Saban defense is prime to put some licks on SEC RBs and QBs…way to represent the best conference in the country. Cold Couscous Award - Is there any doubt who is the top nominee for this award? That courageous, well-prepared, fundamentally sound, focused, disciplined, and "damn strong" squad from Stark-freaking-Vegas. Makes me puke to watch a team like La. Tech manhandle the Bulldogs of the SEC….way to represent the best conference in the country (rolling my eyes as I type that). Love, Stallion

be that far off, and we all know it is not that far off from happening, yet again. We know your game. What we should do is a preseason over/under on the weeks before you have LSU at the top. Georgia and Florida should be ranked ahead of your Tiiigaaahhhs.

However, LSU's defense will prove that they belong. I don't know why you think I am such a homer when LSU continually deserves to be in the top 2 or 3 teams each and every cream ranking.
