This is bad timing for us dedicated listeners who have valued his commentary on USC football for the past 15 years….its unfortunate that Cumulus couldn’t let Heath work through football season, then see if they could work something out

This loss is comparable to losing Morgan, who ironically was on Heath’s last show, yesterday.

Good luck to Heath on finding better employment, like Morgan did.

The guys from noon-3:00 are beyond tough to listen to. I enjoyed Heath. He was the only reason I listened in the afternoon. If they fill his spots with one of the noon-3:00 guys. I am gone.

Nooo, what happened? I agree that he's the best by far.
His contract was up and the were unable to agree to terms. He made a vague reference to it not being just a money thing but that he wanted leeway to do other things and they couldn’t come to an agreement. He seemed to leave on good terms, emphasizing that this is just the way it goes sometimes and thanked the station and fans for 15 years.

I always thought Heath was too big for this market, so I guess we got a nice slice from him, thanks Heath. His Twitter bio says he is Executive Producer of The Chuck Oliver show and will be a weekend and fill-in guy on 680 the Fan in Atlanta.

Agreed. He needs and deserves a bigger audience.

I could definitely see Heath popping up on some of these Gamecock podcasts, I mean come on CFB is getting ready to start and that is Heath's groove. If someone hasn't been in contact with him locally they are missing out on a knowledgeable resource, very similar to Mike Morgan in that vein.
