The results were a foregone conclusion. The South voters pretty much went for Daniels in a solid block, and carried the day. Penix and Nix split the votes of the rest of the Country crippling their chances. As a receiver Harrison never had a chance. It was so obvious that Louie the barber wouldn’t take my bet on Daniels.
