I still remember at an alumni event at the Ag Museum in the summer of 1999, a friend and I went up to new OC Sparky Woods and told him if he knew that the tight end was an eligible receiver in an offense. He laughed at the comment, but after a couple of years, I still don't think he grasped the concept.

A name I keep hearing is an Eric Taylor out of West Texas.

Story is that Leach ran into him at a gas station and imparted the advice that led him to a State championship, which I think technically qualifies him as falling under the Leach coaching tree.

Woods? Is that a JR because the Sparky has to be getting up in age.

****, just give Matt Wyatt a whistle and tell him to get out there.
Matt Wyatt and Wayne Madkin - Co-Offensive Coordinators***

Hear me out... we start almost every game with Madkin, then every 3rd or 4th series, we bring in Wyatt to call some plays. Then some games, we start with Wyatt, then immediately switch to Madkin if we have a couple of 3 and outs or if the crowd starts getting restless.

Laugh if you want, but that is a proven formula for winning the SEC West and the Peach Bowl.
