I really was just thinking, can't these movie folks come up with something new instead of remaking everything (& ruining them w/ a remake), but agree, this has promise.........the "OJ" thing kinda made me think this could be good

I don't see this has a remake. It's a continuation. Like the latest Ghostbusters movie or Top Gun Maverick. Sure it's a nostalgic play. But those make money. Think of this more like Naked Gun 44 and 1/4th.

Now lets see if they make a new Airplane with boobs and racist humor.

I don't care what you do, you can't recreate the Naked Gun series. You just can't.

I am not a huge fan of rebooting sacred intellectual property but this has promise, especially seeing the last 15 seconds.


I've been looking forward to this for a while. They initially planned to do it with Ed Helms and I'm sure it would've sucked. But then Seth MacFarlane got involved and Liam Neeson got cast in the lead and I can't imagine much better than that.
