HUGE third period. This team just doesn't quit. They find ways to win. Game 3 is big. I'd kill to get up 3-0 and give ourselves a chance to end it early, especially since it looks like the Wings are going to sweep the Avs.

I agree... I don't want to play any more games than the Wings have to play... I really do think we can actually sweep San Jose... we're bigger, faster, more talented, and are WAY more conditioned...

I'm starting to think a sweep is possible too. I certainly don't want to go any more than 5 if possible. I'm not sure if the talent discrepancy is that big, but we just seem to have that mysterious "it" right now. For a "Captain Obvious Moment," our special teams have been "a big, big plus." They've really fueled our offense so far. Now that Zubie's back, I feel even more confident. Oh, and a helpful hint, Guy. Going up 2-0 with the next 2 coming at home is HUGE. I think we probably split at home and win the series in 5.

The only thing that could make this series better is if Hatcher was still around to lay out JR. Heh..

You know, Flab, I was thinking about that same thing last night... If Hatch wasn't still playing right now, we could sign him to a 1-day and have him headhunt JR... that's the only thing that would make this series complete...
