Fixed it for you. You are welcome. That said, I doubt the NFL and the respective team's fanbase of the team this guy gets selected by even cares about reckless driving, leaving the scene of a deadly accident, and lying to police given the behavior tolerated from other players over the years.
Shouldn't the NCAA be threatening heavy sanctions on Georgia for allowing this to happen on their watch? They certainly have dragged this out with selective information released along the way. It almost looks like an attempt to put out the info drip by drip so that the media has a hard time putting the big picture together.

Hah. Likely true. With the draft coming, it’s mainly a team issue right now.Fixed it for you. You are welcome.
Nice try by Smart there. It’s “concerning” but don’t you know we are struggling in mourning of our beloved players? (ie back off).
That still doesn't let Georgia off the hook when one of their paid staff was driving while highly intoxicated in a university owned vehicle and racing a former player with a current player in said vehicle when the accident occurred. Sounds like lack of institutional control to me.In all fairness, isn’t this the accident that occurred a few days after the national championship game? The season was over, so it isn’t as though uga covered for the player during the season.
Emmert was still in charge...need I say more!In all fairness, isn’t this the accident that occurred a few days after the national championship game? The season was over, so it isn’t as though uga covered for the player during the season.
True. I don’t think anyone meant to imply they were playing players they shouldn’t have. It’s more of how the situation was handled after it occurred. In all fairness, isn’t this the accident that occurred a few days after the national championship game? Everything was tight lipped. I heard earlier today that press was in the loop on what happened but let the process play out because of the investigation, which is great. My problem with it is the timing, where they waited until he was in Indy at the draft ready to do interviews with prospective teams that wanted to draft him. It's a dog and pony show. They could have arrested him before he left the state but chose not to.I seem to have missed how it was handled. News of the accident came out right away. Then I heard nothing.
