He was very successful as a minor league head coach. He knows Baseball and loves MSU. And you couldn't get a more likeable guy. He is a true "locker room" guy.

Maybe he could just be the interim after Selmon gives Lemon the axe. He'll be 63 this year. Not sure that makes a lot of sense as a first time college HC.
Yeah kind of sounds like the calls for Joe judge in football. He'll be 63 this year. Not sure that makes a lot of sense as a first time college HC.
Tommy Raffo w/ a 360-427 head coaching record, a 17-16 record in conference tournaments and 0 (Zero) NCAA Tournament appearances? What about Raffo ??
He did beat Ole Miss last night though. **Tommy Raffo w/ a 360-427 head coaching record, a 17-16 record in conference tournaments and 0 (Zero) NCAA Tournament appearances?
I guess someone should have told Nick Saban to step down 9 years ago when he turned 63. Each person is different, it's all about personal energy so interview the man. You usually can tell if he still has it or not. He'll be 63 this year. Not sure that makes a lot of sense as a first time college HC.
I really wanna like this post, but some DA will think that I like anything associated with LT.
And when is the last time that happened? So this guy has Saban's record of success coaching D-1 sports? Or is the comparison based merely on age? Maybe consider D-1 head coaches with coaching success. We're not the top baseball school in the country but we're among the top 20 or so which means we can get a good, proven coach.
I was kind of worried about the same thing when I posted it!I really wanna like this post, but some DA will think that I like anything associated with LT.
Corbin would be a mistake, and a costly one at that.Make a hard run at Corbin or Vitello. Build them a coaching suite if you must.
What's he doing NOW? We need someone to Henderson the rest of this season while a real search goes on. And bring a hitting coach with them. Pitching coach could stay for a while. He'll be 63 this year. Not sure that makes a lot of sense as a first time college HC.
Lemonis's first two years. Cohen. Polk II won more than he lost, McMahon, pre-so-horny-he-fried-his-brain-CannizaroAnd when is the last time that happened?
