Everyone in Miami-NIL should send some money to the referees tonight, plus extra to those Keystone cops back at headquarters.

These clowns always harp on and on about there needing to be clear visual evidence to overturn the call on the field. Nothing shown to us qualifies as reason to reverse. I am 100% convinced the league office decided to protect their one chance at post season relevance.

They got the call right. No way that was a catch.

that said there wasn’t video evidence to over turn it. So there’s that… but no way in hell was that a catch

I guess you and I are in the minority. The ball was tracked except for a few frames, every time you could see the ball it was not controlled and moving around. When they finally hit the ground it looks like it was wedged between three players and the Miami guy finally grabbed it. I guess it was incomplete because his left buttcheek was OOB?

The way it is written, they must see positive video evidence to overturn any call. He may not have caught it, but the official called it a touchdown on the field. They had to see ample evidence to overturn it. I did not see enough evidence myself, but I'm not a referee.
