Up 21 on Central Michigan! Those damn Toledoians have the best team money can buy! And then they get the same refs that screwed us against PSU!

Toledo beats CMU by 21, but they lost to tOSU by 56 points = 77-21Up 21 on Central Michigan! Those damn Toledoians have the best team money can buy! And then they get the same refs that screwed us against PSU!
Face it, PSU is 5-0 against a questionable schedule. They're still 5-0 and PSU has a lot of good young talent. IMO they can play with anybody if they're clicking on all cylinders but they could also easily lose 3 games down the stretch.Up 21 on Central Michigan! Sure, but when in the past 2 or 3 seasons has that happened?Face it, PSU is 5-0 against a questionable schedule. They're still 5-0 and PSU has a lot of good young talent. IMO they can play with anybody if they're clicking on all cylinders but they could also easily lose 3 games down the stretch.
As opposed to the murderer’s row schedule all the other 5-0 teams played.Face it, PSU is 5-0 against a questionable schedule. They're still 5-0 and PSU has a lot of good young talent. Agreed. But I'll take PSU's schedule as a more accurate measure of the team over Michigan's. 4 cream puffs and a hapless Iowa team (which is their only road game this season).Face it, PSU is 5-0 against a questionable schedule. Agree. Maryland gave Michigan a game so we certainly have a chance.Agreed. But I'll take PSU's schedule as a more accurate measure of the team over Michigan's. 4 cream puffs and a hapless Iowa team (which is their only road game this season).
PSU has faced adversity in multiple games and displayed the ability to overcome mistakes to win.
That's true, but comparing our struggles to Georgia vs Missouri yesterday is a bit silly IMO.As opposed to the murderer’s row schedule all the other 5-0 teams played.
I don’t compare our struggles to Georgia (although not only did they struggle with Missouri, they also weren’t great against Kent State), I’m just saying we can pick apart any 5-0 team‘s schedule because none of them have played many good teams at this point. Look at Kentucky, one can say they finally played a good team and lost, but look at Ole Miss’s schedule….they’ve beaten absolutely no one before Kentucky so who’s to say they’re good? It’s too early to say anything about anyone at this point. That's true, but comparing our struggles to Georgia vs Missouri yesterday is a bit silly IMO.
PSU has:
Looks like 10-2 or 9-3 to me. Most people would have taken that before the season started.
- A pretty good DL (probably top 3 in the BiG)
- A very good secondary (probably 1 or 2 in the BiG)
- Weak LBs (bottom half of the BiG)
- Good young RBs but difficult to grade given inexperience
- Average OL which is an improvement
- Experienced QB who is probably top 5 in the BiG but not great
- Very good TEs, probably top 2 in BiG
- Above average WRs but no deep threat
