Yeah but most of the game was much much closer than the final score.

I never noticed until this game how late in the shot clock our shots were coming, and how at that point many of them seemed "desperate".

Choose your poison: we focused a lot of defensive effort on stopping #15, but other Iowa players stepped up and hit shots.

We're 352nd in the country, out of 358 teams, in offensive possession length. The only power conference team that plays slower than us at the offensive end is, not surprisingly, Virginia.

The year Virginia won the national title, they were 352nd out of 353 teams...so, it can work, but it definitely does put you in some "desperate" late clock situations.
