Since the Jefferson Pilot Days, 11 a.m. CT kickoffs have been seen as a sign of disrespect. So who's had the most since 2013? You probably can't guess.

Funny that back in the day I was excited when we were on JP because that was about the only chance I had of seeing us play on TV.

They do a 5pm-8pm doubleheader once or twice a year. We’ve had this slot before, off the top of my head I can recall 2012 Tennessee and 2015 LSU being late kickoffs like this one.

I remember before it was JP and was TBS. I believe we played UT in Knoxville for our first appearance..... "Nobody will catch Don Smith."

I think it was the summer after that game Don showed out against UT. I was in Starksville for baseball camp and Don Smith was around MacArthur the whole week. I told him he was my favorite player, and he took me up to his room and dug through his clothes drawers to find a t-shirt he wanted to give me. I was so thrilled to meet him, and talk to him. Him giving me that t-shirt made my year!! I wore that shirt almost everyday until I had a jacket on with a pocket of fireworks that got lit and burned a huge hole in my Don Smith shirt. I was as upset as a kid can be when that happened. The high of being around Don Smith to the low of his shirt getting ruined …,

Go look at 2:30 games now. See who has the fewest. That's far more telling. Those East teams and add ons get the early stuff. AL and LSU get what they want. They're the bell cows.

My thought is considering how sec games are about to be all espn & abc, they are putting our games In any time slot they want.

Not out first appearance on TBS - that was probably vs ole miss in Jackson in 1984.

11:00 kicks are great for everyone except those attending the games and drive 2-4 hours to get there, plus tailgating is noticeably subdued.
