MS sports this morning today. They interviewed him about 14 minutes. Interesting, when he talked about Ole Miss's tradition in winning he said "they" not "we" have won in the past. You would think he would use the word us or we when talking about the school he is coaching.

I'm sure that's just a matter of adjustment. I noticed on the Arkansas radio interview he gave the other day that he said, in reference to Arkansas, that "they beat us pretty badly last year". Nevermind the fact that he was coaching Arkansas at the time, and his team beat Ole Miss. He referred to the team he was coaching last year as "they" and referred to Ole Miss as "us". It's a transition of sorts I guess, and I'll bet he probably doesn't get completely used to the "we"/"us" thing until after he's coached his first game.

I think the question is, can MSU recruit well in a year where Ole Miss isn't in some sort of transition phase? You know what I'm saying.

we need to just put up a better record this year and return to a bowl. And include one good solid upset in the mix and people will still be recognizing us. If we go 5-7 or 4-8 and Ole miss is 7 wins or better we are not going to be consistent on this hot recruiting. We need another bowl game and keep the state optimistic about our program to keep up the commitments over the next couple of years
