that inning was a big turning point. Up to then, Fresno State thought they had the NC in the bag.
got the job done and their closer didn't. Somehow they pieced together 7 solid innings of pitching and when they finally get to someone they have true confidence in it all blows up. Baseball is an odd sport. That said, this Fresno team is just really impressive. They played so well, it was a shame they lost. I like Susdorf (the guy that looks like Will Clark) and their 3rd baseman Mendonca. While I typically root for the SEC and even started the game rooting for UGA, I just couldn't help it, by the middle of the game I was pulling for Fresno.
having the HOPE scholarship, UGA should win the NC. No one else can compete, ya know. (Sarcasm)</p>
