The biggest win for the program in my opinion since we beat #1 Bama. Will the momentum carry over to next week and what impact will it have on recruiting?

As I am constantly told at my place of employment. One or two data points doesn't make for a trend but you have to start somewhere.

I think the last three weeks put a sour taste in recruits mouths. Today certainly off-set that. The big question: did we find the secret sauce or was this a one week blip?

We boat raced the #5 team. No one gave us a chance. The biggest win over a top 5 team since 1936, and we need to be cautious ? Seriously?

Not sure I mentioned being cautious. I am simply saying I want to see more positive data points.

I agree it's the biggest win since Bama.

It better carry over better than the Bama win did. I guess the best news is we are already assured of winning as many games as we won last year. We know now that, if we stop dinking around on offense, we can do some stuff. We had to hit rock bottom before we learned it. Beamer had seen enough, Lloyd was out anyway, so he finally said, Screw it, let's open this thing up."

Wait. Wasn't Stepp secretly trying to tell us that WE were going to get boat raced?

I'm not sure where it rates on the "big" scale, but I certainly put it pretty high on the "satisfying" scale.

Certainly, ending #1 Alabama's 19 game win streak has to be at the top (we lost at Kentucky the next week, though). The 2012 Georgia game also felt bigger, at least at the time (we lost the next 2 games, though).

This game felt a lot like the 2009 Clemson win. Just like how we entered that game, you had the feeling that we entered this game with Gamecock Nation really needing to experience some success. It felt really good when we put that 9th TD on the board to cross the 60-point threshold tonight. That was a statement.

The biggest impact it will have is recruiting our own fans. Getting blasted in the orange crush and losing the pizza bowl would have caused a mutiny.
