All I could think of the whole time I was watching the game. Can only write it off as it's sports and college sports at that. How did we dick around with La Tech or lose to Memphis and beat A&M and Auburn on the road? I have no idea but it sure makes it all interesting.

They were up on Auburn for 30 minutes last Saturday; they took UT to OT in Knoxville. When OM brings their A game, they’re tough. When they do not, it’s ugly.

He's Ben freaking Howland king of bi-polar basketball. But since it's his last season, let him continue the tradition.

Ole Miss is a "feast or famine" team this year. Wait 'til they come to the Hump. Will likely lose by double digits

no Tolu--we tried and defend Brooks with Brooks and no help--we finally put Mathews on Murrell--too late. this time we have Tolu and we need to get in Murrell's ****.

Cam Mathews is a true believer in 5 fouls. He tries to use all of them every game and I love it.

I don’t know if I love it. Some aren’t necessary. It does go to his aggressive nature on D. But he sure isn’t worried about possibly fouling while he’s on the court.

I'd rather him be aggressive and not adjust. He's not on the floor to score.

I look forward to the coaching hot board for Howland's replacement next season. I want to see Adidas do work or tell them to suck a nut and hit the damn road.

Basketball is one of those games where the outcome can be stupid. All it takes is one guy that can't miss that day and it's a different game. They had two guys have career days that day as I recall.

I used to go to the Tip-Off Club meetings. Coach Kirby did a great job of going over the game plan for each opponent at these meetings. When we played high scoring teams he said he told the players on the team that usually didn't foul to remember they had 5 fouls to give and he expected them to use all but one. I'm paraphrasing but you get the message.
