We knew this was going to happen. ESPN didn’t even pick our game on Gameday…a top 15 matchup. They knew many wanted that game to be a “win and in” situation so they tried to hide it knowing if we won, we weren’t getting in.
can’t really complain about getting left out. Just crazy we had LSU game stolen from us and Miami had a win gvent to them against Virginia Tech. Our records should be swapped. Nevermind that they lost 2 of last 3.
There is no criteria to go on. There never will be. They are going to choose the 12 they want. Only way SC will ever get in is if the committee has no choice.

Exactly. Nothing has changed or ever will change. It will always be either luck up and win your conference one year or you don’t get in unless you’re a money-making brand like Alabama. I’m not surprised by getting left out, and also not even really disappointed, I’m really more just angry that the committee is telling all of us as well as many national analysts and pundits that we’re all idiots straight to our faces.
The more and more I read and we get updated, the more angry I get now. Just saw the “first five out” from ESPN. Now, I’m assuming the teams are listed in order of who got left out, and Clemson was the third team left out while we were the fifth? Make it make sense. Put some actual football people on these committees with half a brain. Give me a break.
That was to eliminate the people complaining about us. If they put us at 12 or 13, then people start comparing. They are hoping being down 14 is so far that people won’t even waste time discussing. They’ll focus more on the 1st & 2nd team out. Again, ESPN didn’t even pick our game on Gameday. The deflection was in from last week. We crashed a party we weren’t invited to.
YEP!!!! Miami has lost 2 of their last 3 both to unranked teams. And they’re ahead of us
Head to head matters tho we gotta beat bama and ole miss. We complain about them losing to Oklahoma by 21 but we lost to ole miss at home by about the same amount.
