All kidding aside, I'd write it this way as well. 1 didn't really possess or throw the ball. Over the years I've kind of developed my own language that probably doesn't match the official way to keep score, or anyone else's way for that matter. My box score never looks like the official one. I don't award hits so easily. Mental Errors still get E's in my book.
