Logically one would conclude that it has nothing to do with the physical skills necessary for hitting. Logic would indicate that it has everything to do with the mental preparedness. My theory of what happened is that we have a team that has been listening to a fanbase gone absolutely gaga over the first NC gush over them for 8 months about how good they are and we didn't have the player leadership needed to keep everybody's heads out of the clouds and ready to play ball.
I really hope we can turn it around but seeing that it has persisted for two weeks I am not optimistic that we can do that on a dime. It is really a crying shame to have our defending NC season start so far off the rails like this.
