How does Stools still have supporters after this?

Giving up already? It’s only year 13. It’s to the point that we are so bad it’s almost entertaining. I love the movie Bad News Bears. If we are gonna be bad I want to be embarrassing. I’ve gotten a lot of enjoyment out of this game and yes I’m a real Kentucky fan.
You aren't a real UK fan if you haven't been called a fake fan before.

I really don’t understand how you can be so bad at your job and have no real accountability to it, can keep underperforming at an alarming clip, ***** about things actually in your control, say things that lead others to believe you basically don’t want to do half your job, and still have a job. Not only have the job, but make more than most others who do the same job but much better than you. It’s like not real life.

I don't believe he does. I think some fans are grateful for the run that he had, but everyone knows the wheels are off at this point. Very similar to Calipari.
Calipari still had his holdouts, up until he left for Arkansas in the middle of the night. He just needs more time!

This will be the straw that broke Barnhart's and Stoops back. It's completely downhill from here. Hopefully we're Blessed and Stoops decides to leave with some dignity but if not we make way too much money to be held hostage any longer to his Contract. I'm not sold on Sumerall though. I want an Offensive Coach.

Supporters will say he’s the winningest coach (which isn’t saying much, especially since he’s been here 12 years) or 2 10 win seasons (1 of which was vacated).

Also not sold on Sumrall. Stoops 2.0 with a little more discipline. We will look a lot cleaner while losing. Moral victories will be out of the roof.

Was ready for him to leave several seasons ago..... Watched the 1st half.... And part of the 2nd.. After the two back to back turnovers..... I just muted it.... And started playing games on my phone... Look up every once in a while.... Chuckle as the score was even worse.... And go back to my games.. Barnhart is just as much to blame.... He is the one that keeps making this insane contracts..... Success is not guaranteed to be sustained year after year.... Then really long contracts kill any leverage that the AD has. And this is what we get stuck with.... Basketball, no need for long contracts.... Coach want to leave for else where... Let them go.... We will find another.... And for football.... Pretty much the same.. The program has shown we will pay good money for results... Keep the result up... You keep getting paid.... Not having any clause in the contract to to be fired for poor performance is asinine

Only way we will get a coach is give one year contracts based off performance. You win and we will make you the highest paid coach in America. One year only. Suck the next season your pay is based off that. Now Ik that’s unrealistic but only thing I can think of to make a real coach want to come here. Win and you will be payed better than any coach in America. Win the Sec you get a ten million dollar bonus win the national championship you get 20 million. Fun to come up with contracts using other people’s money😂

Cig is too old.
Seriously? We don't need him for the next 30 years. We need him for 5 to 10 years and then we could go for a longterm solution. It's moot- because he has no reason whatsoever to even think about coming here. He'll either stay at Indiana to build a legacy there or go to a blueblood program.

"It's to the point that we are so bad it's almost entertaining". Well said and sadly true. By the time the game is over, the level of suckage is remarkable and you realize that the football game you sat down to watch wasn't a football game at all but a twisted and cruel version of Saturday Night Live. I have to admit that it is certainly entertaining for all the wrong reasons.

In hindsight, that 2021 team didn’t beat anyone worth a crap. Iowa is never something to hang your hat on and our big SEC wins were over 6-7 Florida and LSU teams.

We still lost to Tennessee and Georgia as usual.

I'll support him as long as he is the coach here just like I have all others. His success and UK's are synonymous is the bottom line. That doesn't mean I have a lot faith in the current situation. I thought Curry needed to go long before he did and the Joker thing was ugly but I didn't spend all my time on a one track mission to slam them while often using ridiculous hyperbole.

The OC could be the bulk of our problems. There is a big difference in Stoops records with Gran and Cohen (54-35) vs. the rest (25-40). I'm just not sure we have enough playmakers currently regardless of the OC but that may not have been the situation with the right guy in place.

When your offense helps the other team score more points for them than they do their own team.....😡
Boley is young and inexperienced so I won't rule out his future. When your QB plays that bad though it is nearly impossible to win. With all our disasters in that game if he just hits Maclin on the TD throw we might have still had a chance.

Problem 1: always has and always will be the AD.

Problem 2: The AD.

This man has been given enormous amounts of wealth that double every AD in front of him combined. It is not excusable to be this bad and to continue in his position. The sad truth is all other programs in this league want to win except Kentucky. This AD’s office is about sucking in money for the university heads, not winning. That means you’re not going to win.

Our AD has now turned UK into the best job in the country and STILL couldn’t attract a great coach. Why? Because they want to win and Kentucky doesn’t. It’s the best job in the country why? Because they will give you more money than anywhere else and you can be awful. Your agent can walk in and ***** slap Barnhart, he’ll roll over and pay his family too. He’ll give you enormous contracts and accept Bowl games that come on after reruns of “As the World Turns”.

He’s always been a guy who belonged at Murray, Western, or some small Christian school. People this is GD SEC professional sell your mother sports. These programs like UT will absolutely pay you to kill their mother in return for 10 wins. And we’ve got Mitch F’n Barnhart trying to combat that.

Stoops is not even remotely close to our problem. You take care of the AD and you take care of the Stoops problem because no AD in this conference would put up with it.

I would LOVE to see what a real Kentucky man of past years with the drive to have Kentucky at the top could do will the money “FART has been given. The man has produced ONE (ONE) national title in basketball at a program that was the pinnacle of the sport when he took over. And that went back 100 years.

Sick and tired of this bum. Force him into retirement or empty that F’n stadium.

Boley doesn't look like he is going to be ready for SEC level football anytime soon.

That’s where the heat needs to be. Mitch is the one who allows the coaches to treat BBN like we are a bunch of bitches. We have coaches that are paid top dollar to lose and complain while doing it like it’s our fault. He just isn’t putting in the work point blank and is getting paid like he is. Mitch is the one that needs to go. I mean he even looks like a weak ***** so it’s not surprising that he gets strong armed into these contracts.

Sad thing is i don't think MB will fire stoops. He's not paying him 37.5 million dollars. The only hope is he resigns after negotiating a buyout. But why would you? 9 million dollars a year and the big buyout. He'll hang on as long as he can and milk it. How are you 4-14 in games after buy weeks????? Spend more time at Jeff Ruby's than the football practice facilities I guess.

Where is Rembrandt? I was telling everyone on the Rivals board that he would disappear again when this trainwreck of a season unfolded. I'm sure he'll magically appear again in the offseason and start name calling and agitating. I really wanted him to appear on this board and try to defend this mess.
He hasn't posted since the site move, so don't think it's related to this team's performance. He'd had some health issues.

As I've said before, if we have to pay Stoops whether he's the coach or not, hire someone for $1M/year. That's the only added cost. Not much.

He did tend to run and hide after losses though. Everyone remembers that. Most of us show up after, win or lose.

I hope he is doing okay though. He definitely is a knowledgeable poster.
