I just noticed this one on their staff, former Bulldog that loves Starkville and bleeds Maroon & White

On the other board it was mentioned that they had 7-8 coaches dedicated to evaluating portal players while we had zero (under ZA).

Why would we need someone to evaluate portal talent when we had that amazing offensive mind from Georgia Southern or Valdosta State or McNeese or wherever he was from who was going to bring a dynamic offense that revolutionized our play calling and spread fear throughout the SEC?

Ole Miss is investing in Football. We are building a $200Million Dorm.
Someone needs to explain to them what a university is for. But $200 mil for a dorm. It better be awesome. I don't like being the old person who says stuff like "when I was young we had to eat dirt and sleep on the floor" kind of arguments but I certainly didn't live in some $200 million dorm.

Well, I did live in Smith Hall in the 80s, so...

To your average 18 year old, quality of dorms are a major factor in their college decision. So its a recruiting tool, albeit a very expensive one. I'm sure theirs a point of diminishing return at some point, but having that "wow" factor on a campus tour definitely can tip the scales.

Florida has like 50 staff members and they suck. Feels like off field staff is the new IPF.

Great example that off field staff alone won't make any program successful. If our staff last year would have have 50 more analysts it would not have made a difference
