I don’t have a wife so I cook my own food, and I can unclog a brick wall.
My dilemma: I don’t want any kids who actually want to be at Penn State.
Can we find kids who hate us but will play for us anyway?

Interesting observation, but there are some qualifiers. If you are a great player and go to Rutgers, competition not so much. Go to Alabama and it’s a whole different story.
I've got a funny story to relate. My daughter, being a typical early teenager, wanted to decorate her bedroom the way one would expect a girl of that age would decorate. She saw a footstool covered with shaggy faux fur that she liked; so, she tells my wife she wanted a fuzzy stool for Christmas. Tip: never look up "fuzzy stool" on the interwebs.

In the last 2 weeks 450 players out of the 1400 who have put their name in the portal are with other teams less than 1/3. Probably not a good move from now on.
“Allegedly“ being the key word. I think it would take a lot more than 5 mil to tempt a player to leave the great football program that is UNC.UNC’s QB was allegedly offered $5M by two other schools to transfer.
Not that we'll eve know one way or another, but I'd be willing to be that a sizeable percentage of those 1400 don't have much choice in the matter.
