I enjoy pro sports and I'm not trying to tell anyone else how to live their lives, but I've never really understood people that put a pro team in the same stratosphere as an alma mater in terms of passion. I guess it's just people that, god forbid, actually enjoy winning

After that, I find myself pulling against teams that have had a long run (Patriots, Tiger, Bulls back in the 90s). After they fall, I tend to pull for a redemption championship for them. I liked Jordan when he came back, I would root for Tiger to win one more - that sort of thing. The only exception are the teams listed above, I would like to see them lose every game.

Im always shocked how little I’m aware of MLB these days. In my youth I could tell you the entire roster of the Chicago Cubs and probably who their best players in the minors were. Today?…. I mean.. I’m not even totally sure they still field a team.

After that, it's pretty much just watching all things in general, a lot of college sports across the board, NFL, the Braves some here or there. Maybe throw in the women if deep in the dance, maybe some golf, Tour de France, some high school here or there, Saints if I had to choose an NFL team, maybe the Titans or MSU players, etc.

No real interest in the NBA, MLS, NHL, EPL or MLB overall. I'd probably go to the games, though. Never really cared about Olympics and USA type sports either, just never seemed fair to me.

I've pulled way back on my care level recently. I still follow but I simply do not get mad anymore.

Outside of those, I generally pay attention to teams in NFL or MLB that have State ties. The only sports teams that I would say I'm a "fan" of, being short for "fanatic", is State and the Saints. I only passively keep up with the MLB until playoff time.
