I think Dwayne Wade hit him with some voodoo as he hasn't had a hot shooting night since meeting him. Fortunately this team is much more talented this year and we typically won't have to rely on one guy to play lights out to win.

He was 4-15 overall and 1-9 from 3-point range tonight. Hit his first one and missed his final eight. He wasn’t even close on most of his threes tonight. Hopefully he gets right for SEC play.

No doubt Hub was not Hubbi’n tonight
Unfortunately, he hasn’t been Hubbin’ for the last few games.

IMO, he needs to settle down and let the game come to him (like he did last year and during the beginning of this season) I stead of trying to force shots. Teams are focusing on him more now and it seems like he’s still trying to get his points instead of finding the open player and helping them get theirs.

Forcing shots doesn’t work.

Exactly. He has plenty of help. He needs to calm down. He will though. He’s too good not to. He’s missing long but that can be fixed. Not worried about him

Should have done the research... It just seemed like his last 5 games have been under his standard.
He was 44.4% coming into tonight, lost 4.4 just from tonight. The 5 games before this one he was 14 of 41, 34.2%.

Game by game last 5:
33.3
40
40
25
37.5

And then obviously he had the horrible shooting game tonight. Definitely shooting a little worse than we would like but it’s just 2 really bad games lately and 4 for the year. And he was scorching hot to begin the year. His first four games were:
85.7
50
50
55.6

Then a terrible game at SMU when he only shot 20%. He also had a bad one in the only loss to Butler at 27.3. We are going to need him up over 40% for SEC play for sure.

All I'm going to say is that Kugel and Harris won the game for us last night. Thankfully.

Josh played some decent D and missed all his shots.

I got to witness him make an air ball. My heart broke for him at that moment. I pray that he can get it together soon for his sake, not just ours.

I believe what you saw last night is the same thing we did in his slump last year. Jans is letting Hubbard shoot through it because we all know we need him in conference play.

We were going to win that game one way or another but if he was able to make some and get going before next saturday, that would be a big deal.
