Just saw the blog. Wonder what will become of it. It just keeps getting better and better. Time for somebody to get their butt down to the Golden Moon and bring the chief up to Vegas for a little cleansing.

Like Veazy said, It doesn't mean they won't re-enroll for the fall. It will be July before we know anything substantial about the their football futures at MSU. This is a clean-up tactic, I think. It shows that if they are cleared and allowed to return in the fall, Croom can say "Well, they were out of school and were not allowed to practice with the team, so they've served their punishment."

but I don't expect any of them to play a down for us again. For one thing, they lose all their hourse they were working on this semester. I would think they would have to make that up. AJ had a lot of trouble getting in the first time, having to go to Hargrave and all. I understand the tactic but I'm not extremely optimistic about them actually getting back in and being cleared to play. We'll see.

what are the odds they could even get themselves eligible to play in the fall even if they were cleared of everything relating to the shootout at the OK corral? You have to pass 24 hours in the previous year and they won't pass anything for the spring sememster. That leaves the fall and the summer to get those 24 hours.

Honestly, they probably won't play for us again. I just see this as the course of action Croom is using to not have to suspend them further, if somehow they get back in school/on the team in the fall.
I'd say it's about 90% certain they never play at MSU again. Oh well, Jamon and Anthony will be SWAC first-teamers at Valley and Jackson St.
