The CFB schedule has been known for the better part of the last year and the NFL schedules a game today? I know that late December NFL game day Saturdays have been a thing for years but I’m seriously wtf?
NBA feels the same about ChristmasThe CFB schedule has been known for the better part of the last year and the NFL schedules a game today? I know that late December NFL games have been a thing for years but I’m seriously wtf?
Why not schedule them? They’ve had these games in their contracts for a long time, and they don’t want to lose out on the $.The CFB schedule has been known for the better part of the last year and the NFL schedules a game today? My issue is that our basketball team is also playing at noon. Wish I could be focusing on both games separately.I haven't seen this mentioned here, but I'm having a total fit today. Since when has there been a day that the Steelers and Nittany Lions played on the same day??? When has anyone ever had to deal with two crucial games right in a row? It doesn't happen.
PSU 1st playoff game ever and then Steelers @ Ravens for AFCN crown. It's crazy! Most consequential day of football since Superbowl 45.
Just be happy the PSU game was not scheduled for 330 pm. Or that the Steelers game was not scheduled at 1 pmI haven't seen this mentioned here, but I'm having a total fit today. I was just being the old fart yelling at clouds. Nice of you to call me out on that. Why not schedule them? They’ve had these games in their contracts for a long time, and they don’t want to lose out on the $.
I’ll at least give you the respect to call you Dr. Old Fart!I was just being the old fart yelling at clouds. Nice of you to call me out on that.
Can you get a PhD in Old Fart? I might already have the credits; I'll just need to write my dissertation here - maybe on Festivus and I'll need to defend it from all of you airing your grievances.I’ll at least give you the respect to call you Dr. Old Fart!

Don't forget women's volleyball national championship! Oh that's tomorrow whew!My issue is that our basketball team is also playing at noon. Wish I could be focusing on both games separately.
This is the correct answer. The four teams playing today are also playing on Christmas Day. They didn’t want them to be on a Sunday-Wednesday schedule.NFL is trying to "phase" the teams that will have to play on Wednesday so that they all have the same 4-day but not 3-day week in preparation.
New information, thanks. This is the correct answer. The four teams playing today are also playing on Christmas Day. They didn’t want them to be on a Sunday-Wednesday schedule.
Let's based it on the real conspiracy theory.... The NFL is showcasing its new "farm teams" but label it as the CFP playoffs, so PSU is actually the Steelers new minor league team and OSU is going to be the Ravens new farm team, since no respectable team will admit to belonging to the Browns or Bengals.....This is the correct answer. The four teams playing today are also playing on Christmas Day. They didn’t want them to be on a Sunday-Wednesday schedule.
IMHO... A better solution would be to not have games on Dec 25.This is the correct answer. The four teams playing today are also playing on Christmas Day. They didn’t want them to be on a Sunday-Wednesday schedule.
Lots of beer!I haven't seen this mentioned here, but I'm having a total fit today. Since when has there been a day that the Steelers and Nittany Lions played on the same day??? When has anyone ever had to deal with two crucial games right in a row? It doesn't happen.
