I've said from Day 1 that 6-6 is the likely ceiling with this team, with 7-5 possibly by stealing one somewhere along the line. Nothing I've seen so far this season has made me change my mind, except 7-5 is truly a long shot at this point.

It’s not a ridiculous take to suggest we can still go 8-4. Bama and Georgia are the only two teams only the schedule you should chalk up as auto losses. Everyone else is beatable. Could very realistically win our next three at home and be 5-1 at the midway point.

You basically need to go 3-1 against A&M, Arkansas, Kentucky, and Ole Miss to get to 8-4. All four are true toss ups that could go either way, losing in Baton Rouge doesn’t change that.
