well, not really. I was lucky enough to catch the highlights of one of our games this weekend on the local sports. Have you seen the white uni's with the white two-tone hats? We look like a bunch of damn clowns out there. It was almost as embarrassing as our play. I believe I've heard they are designed by Russell. So do me a favor, Russell Athletics:

the whole thing is collapsing. Remember Bellard's last year he changed to uni's to be similar to MVSU's. I GUESS WE MUST ACCEPT THAT WE HAVE NO TRADITION AND ANY COACH, EQUIPMENT MANAGER, PRESIDENT, WATER BOY, GRAD ASSISTANT, FRAT BOY, VALLEY GIRL, REDNECK, COWBOY, DEADHEAD, AG MAJOR CAN ON A WHIM TOTALLY CHANGE TEAM UNIFORMS AND LOGOS. IMAGINE SOMEONE TRYING TO CHANGE MICHIGAN'S HELMET DESIGN. THEY WOULD PROBABLY BE FOUND ON THE BOTTOM OF LAKE MICHIGAN JUST FOR MENTIONING IT.

I swear you could close your eyes and open a uniform catalog and point and hit better uniforms than we have in football and baseball. What is so damn difficult?</p>

We're able to keep the MS on the hat despite ole Lar wanting to go to M-State in everything, but we can't keep some sort of more traditional uniform? I realize we've changed before, but I like the unis we used to wear a few years ago. We had the white/grey with "Mississippi State" in cursive maroon or the interlocking MS in maroon on the front, those looked nice. We also had the maroon shirt with "State" in cursive white on the front combined with white pants, again looking sharp. Then we went to the crazy uniforms. We had the black on maroon, which looks terrible. The two tone white, ugh. Why can't we just wear some more traditional looking uniforms instead of trying to be the Oregon of college baseball?

The white MState helmet isn't popular and our colors aren't maroon enough, but at least they don't look like a drunk Trading Spaces reject threw them together. They mainly suffer from being plain, not being embarassing.
