i have built a goat house (for yancy)

now that i have my gift goat - who i've named 'yancy' - i've put him on a diet that i found on the internet which has made him happier

i built him a little house for him to go in and out of and have shelter from the weather. yancy has also found a liking for kudzu which i think is a fiber thing. i found some feed at TSC that yancy likes and i got a good deal on

yancy has befriended a dog that my other neighbor has which is a pointer named BOONE. yancy and boone run up and down the fence line leaping and and leaping and barking and bleating at each other. very funny.

do you think this ok socially? i want yancy to have friends but im worried about letting him out of the yard to roam free. dont want him to start headbutting people or other animals but yancy seems to liking his place

My cousin had a billy that roamed free, you could smell him an hour after he left. I had to run him off when I came home and found him full on mountain goat head butting the side of my house.
