this was a bunch of sore winners. OSullivan really showed his lack of class by mouthing at our coach on the "tripping" incident which obviously was unintentional.

That entire scenario at the end of the game is pissing me off more than the loss. The entire nation will only see Florida's point of view here. Meanwhile, we'll still be a bunch of "classless rednecks who need to shut it".

Hate to disagree but to anyone who knows baseball Miss State embarrased themselves at the end of the game. I am a long time State fan and supporter but I also follow college baseball pretty close and this incident reinforces our programs reputation. All the teams left play hard so I don't want to hear about having that attitude about us now that Cohen is here. This reputationis already being used against Miss State in recruiting and this doesn't help. The team made an incredible showing this last couple of weeks and it is really unfortunate it had to end on ESPN the way it did. Some of our staff didn't handle losing with class today and that is notacceptable.

you have made reference in two different post about showing a lack of class and not handling the situation correctly. It's fine to have an opinion, but I would love for you to tell us exactly what happened for you to feel this way because I apparently didn't see it.<div>

I'm sick of Cohen and his staff. They need to all be fired. I told y'all we should have hired Raffo.

18-0 on Super Bulldog Weekend? CT was the Florida Player of the Year, and they didn't like him.

If you watch the replay, you can clearly see 3 things.

1. Our coach was walking towards the dugout while watching the ball in the air.
2. The UF catcher was already camped under the ball waiting on it by the time the idiot UF 1B ran into our coach.
3. The idiot 1B is initially charging straight towards the play, looks down to find out where our coach is, and then actually takes a couple of sideways steps towards our coach.

Should our coach have made a beeline towards the dugout? Maybe so. But, he was in no way interfering with the play. Furthermore, the 1B bothered to look for him and still ran into him despite the fact that our coach was moving away from the play even though he was only walking.

not saying he tripped him on purpose....wished he would have moved outta the damn way of the play so it did'nt look so on purpose. Most of the people watching think it was on purpose and dirty sportmanship on MSU's part...thats what I don't like about it!

...I laugh my *** off each time at the dumbass first baseman. Nick was clearly watching the ball and slowly walking towards the dugout. He had no idea that the first baseman was running up behind him and no reason to think he was because the catcher had the play. If you watch the replay, you will see that Nick is just as surprised as everyone else. Nick is a good guy, a gentleman and a true sportsman. He wouldn't trip an opponent on purpose.

embarrassing to MSU. Mingione was in the coaches box with his back to the first baseman and his head was looking straight up. Please go away!

Anybody that has ever played the game past little league knows that they want a coach that will stand up for them and Cohen showed he's got their back when another coach tries to show them or another coach up. I would have been greatly disappointed in Cohen had he not said something to that little man. I hope it's not forgotten when we see them next year.
