Doesn't really matter either way now. There's no conceivable scenario that gets us in. If we were on the brink, MAYBE an absolute curb stomping by Clemson drops SMU out and gets us in, but at 14, that ain't happening.

Best we can hope for now is for SMU to win so Clemson doesn't get the last laugh by getting into the playoffs.

It’s the only way we have a shot at climbing into the playoffs so go tigers

I want SMU to win the ACC. That said, if I thought the committee would regret not allowing us in if clemson is added to the playoff, and that that decision looked bad enough to speed up the demise of the 12 team playoff favor of a 16 team playoff, I would change my mind but I dont believe the committee could care any less about what people think. They'll just say they will never make everyone happy and carry on. So go Mustangs!

Clemson wins and they get in along with SMU eating up an at large bid. I agree we have almost no chance either way, but literally there is 0 chance if Clemson wins.

We absolutely 100% cannot get into the CFP. There is no path imaginable for us. Nothing can happen on Saturday to change that.

Best thing would be for Clemson to beat SMU in a respectable game. That would put Clemson in and nudge Bama out a the committee has indicated they aren't going to penalize teams for losing conference championship games. IF Clemson just blew SMU's doors off, that could change some thinking that Bama deserves the spot over them. This is an SMU vs Bama debate. We are no longer a factor.

At this point, I'm so over the Bama bias, I'm pulling for a close Clemson win so Bama gets nudged out. Clemson's not good enough to make any kind of run in the CFP, so I'm not worried about them winning anything.

I'd rather have Bama in and Clemson out.

It's cosmetic. Making the 12-team CFP doesn't mean anything, particularly since they would probably lose handily to whoever they faced in the first round.

I simply don't want Bama getting any satisfaction from getting gifted another spot in the CFP.

I sure don't want clemson to have any satisfaction. I know I hate them more than i hate Alabama.

Eh, doesn't bother me that much. The shine has worn off Clemson, and everyone knows it. Making the CFP for them would be totally cosmetic and more of an indictment on the ACC than anything else.

We beat them. On their own field. No matter what else happens, they can't change that.

Whatever injustice was levied against us by the committee was committed in Bama's favor, not Clemson's. I want justice and right now that means Bama being left out.
