Winning on Saturday will only further this false narrative that we hold some sort of imaginary advantage when playing in our home stadium at night. Truth be told, in what’s best for the program, it would be best if we lost by 50 so that our coaches, players, etc. learn that they cannot depend on the fans and stadium atmosphere at all or else they will be setting themselves up for failure. That’s what I have learned this past week.

My post was…..sarcasm…..due to interactions myself and @18IsTheMan had the past few days with other fans who feel that quite literally nothing else plays a role in a football game other than the players on the field.

I couldn't see the sarcasm in your eyes as you were typing. Mistook you for one of those you referenced who think football is not an emotional game. I need to look more closely for those inflections instead of reading and quickly responding.
