Does the guy have a lifetime contract with ESPN? Are there people out there that actually enjoy listening to him? I just wish it were him and not Harold Reynolds hitting on the ESPN women here awhile back.

by far. But what makes it so frustrating is that Jon Miller is his "enabler." If Jon Miller would quit feeding Morgan's massive ego by talking incessantly about his career and comparing his career to every hitter that steps to the plate, it might not be so bad. OK, it would still be really bad.

Case in point, Miller talking for 10 minutes about how Joe Morgan finished 2nd in the Rookie of the Year balloting in 1965 during the Zimmerman at-bat. Why, Jon, why??? Does Morgan pay you to mention all of his career stats during the broadcast?

I think there are times when Jon tires of Joe though to. He does seem to be enabling him tonight.

I think the Joe is the antagonist, as pretty much everyone like Jon Miller.

I'd like to see Jon Miller and John Kruk do a game with Peter Gammons doing his side-line reporting.
