I wish they would bring back the white unis with the maroon pin stripes and the maroon MS logo on the jersey. Those were my absolute favorite. <div>

everytime i see them i picture clarks pop us slide into home. Man, i miss the days of the gritty players and the eye black. Looks like this team, and hopefully many more, have more in common with them than just the unis!!!!!!!!
It was thewinner's bracket game.FSU came through the loser's bracket and had to beat us twice AFTER the slam put us in the championship. Think they did win the first one. But I will grant you that we probably wouldn't have made it w/o the slam (of course a triple might have done it, don't remember the score).
I think I remember that right. I was there, and I can't speak for anyone else, but you could kind of feel Masters grand slam coming before he hit it- at least I could. I told my Dad that he was going to hit a home run, and he did- my Dad just looked at me like- "I can't believe that."
I can't think of another team that has a jersey and numbers with that lettering. It's almost late 1890's style- but we make it work really well.
Masters was 6-6 in that game and that grand slam was the only extra base hit for MSU in that game.

...a script Mississippi State? I like those as well, but I agree that these maroon tops are the best. Pinstripes are good too.
