As great as last season was, it's the worst thing that could have happened because you can't do anything with "The Legend" until he's ready to leave on his own terms. A story book ending to his career would have been an exit after last year.

The injury excuse has no bearing with me. While Polk spent the last 10 years bitching about the NCAA, the rest of the conference caught up with us and passed us by.

If we could have only prolonged Buryball another week.
