My parents did it this year. It was life-changing. You get to Italy and park your wallet in your pocket. Everything is covered. Inside baseball at all the restaurants, vineyards etc. intimate in a way that you can only get from a person that has personal relationships everywhere you go.
all meals family style so that they could try 10-15 different things at every place
They are looking to go again and i think i will as well

To add one more thing

he genuinely cares about everyone on the trips and wants to get to know them all. He even has a reunion party annually in hattiesburg with the people that have gone on his trips and the planners
