I see that Jamont has wisely picked a new agent.

The one he had before really gave him some bad advice. Hopefully, things will work out for him and Rhodes too.

seriously though, I hope someone explains to him the time value of money and he goes to play oversees making good money rather than float around in the D-League.

As Derrick Z. has shown, you can be a great D-League player and the NBA doesn't really care.

round? Or did the guy talk his way back into the hearts of Monta and Monta's mother?

Well, Jamont's first(?) agent is no different from 98% of the agents out there. He just didn't get lucky in this draft. On the other hand, Walter Sharpe's agent hit the jackpot. And there are plenty of other agents who had no idea their clients would go in Round 1, but did. The sad part is, for those players who shouldn't have gone in Round 1, but did, those players think their agent is brilliant. Those are the players who'll wonder where all of their money went in 5-10 years.

does anyone else remember him winning the foot locker slam dunk competitions on abc circa 1990? it was ridiculous. of course, he was a long jumper, but i swear he jumped from halfway between the FT and 3pt line, dunking it with 2 hands. one of them, he held on to the rim and flipped coming down, almost hurting himself seriously. it was very impressive. (he of course won)</p>
