I think it all boils down to Sean Clifford this year. Its his sixth year.

was just thinking about this. Seems like we see an out-of-nowhere QB break into the picture every year. Burrow, Pickett..... why not Cliff? A lot of things are kind of lining up for him to be that guy this year (second year coord, great running game) however there are a few questions (OL, TEs, WRs). Might could happen, but we'll see

Yeah I agree. Clifford obviously isn’t Joe Burrow, Bryce Young, etc but the team was 5-0 and boat racing Iowa on the road before he got hurt last year. Like to think of myself as an optimist but after the last few years, when it comes to OL play, this year I’m from Missouri—show me.
Agree. The OL hasn’t been good for a very long time despite getting high ranked recruits, several of which are now playing in Sundays, so I will believe it when I see it regarding the OL.
I think it all boils down to giving Clifford help. He needs a good OL and a good running game. If we get those 2 things, Clifford can thrive.
Clifford has to remain healthy which is largely, but not entirely dependent upon the OLine performance.
I may be in the minority here, but Franklin needs to get the #2 QB some meaningful experience this season, not only in preparation for next season but to mitigate the risk if Clifford gets injured.
