It's taking longer than expected because the marketing department is trying to figure out how to make 3 years of being a GA and 1 year of being an assistant positional coach into an entire press release.

When Mullen came in, he made his last hire in February,(I believe).
No such thing as the transfer portal or early signing day back then. Gotta move much quicker now.

Jkjk I do sincerely not want Durkin, and we don’t Big12 style defense either so I’m anxious to see who it will be. Probably end up being someone from the Big12 but who knows we could get lucky

What’s your opinion on him? How do you think he would work out? I just took a Look and it seems for the most part he would be worse than Durkin stat wise.Btw I have no idea how I quoted myself can someone tell me how or delete my previous post? I truly don’t know how

Hard to say. He is Co-DC at FSU, but any time you have "Co" the wonder is who is making the calls. Randy has always recruited well.
Very valid point about the CO-DC and I just flat out don’t know a lot about Randy Shannon some how… Thanks. A new guy brought up Tosh Lupoi from Oregon he’s their DC and LB Coach. It doesn’t seem like Oregon or Pac12 is known for their Defense at all. Then again another guy I haven’t analyzed much but I doubt he leaves UO, correct me if I’m wrong abt him. He did coach under Saban for a few years not as DC though
