I wish Rocco had won.

I just dont think he can do it again tomorrow. The question is how much of that knee is going to bother Tiger tomorrow.

is that he now designs his own clothes. If you've been to a PGA tour event lately those new Euro-type pants they wear these days remind me alot of the parachute pants from the 80's.

cant be good for Tiger to have to play a 5th day in a row. Should be interesting.

Another good thing is Westwood hung in when matched with Tiger today and didnt fold like a cheap suit. Gives Rocco more hope

seem to be bothering him when he made the good shots but when he made the bad shots, he would come up limping. Kinda reminded me of an ole boy that I played football with. He was jumping and moving around on the 18th after he made that putt like he had ants in his pants.

If Eldrick wins, he will be out there doing back flips. He loses........"oh my knee..." Hell, he even said in the interview at the end that "some things" hurt and helped his knee with a smile.

Tiger wouldn't be in the playoff if the knee was a factor.

No because he probably would have won it. He made some really bad decisions today in hitting shots or clubs he had no business trying with his knee hurt. If his knee were fine or he made better decisions he probably would have won.

yeah he just had his 3rd knee surgery and it is fine. Absolutely no pain at all, he is actually faking all of this

that one of the greatest players of all time has been deviously crafting an excuse for four days? Its obvious the guy is in pain. And he grimaced several times on good shots.

I really doubt Tiger thought on Monday "I may not win, I need to dramatically exaggerate the extent of this knee situation".

That's funny because I watched him hit at least five drives today right down the middle of the fairway where he winced in pain and crouched down to massage his knee.

But then again, who am I kidding? The best player in the history of golf is really just using this "knee surgery" BS as an excuse for coming in second at a US open. It's all a freakin conspiracy.

I didn't mean it like that. I don't have anything against Rocco. I meant this would be the only "Tiger" I would root for as opposed to the LSU Tigers.

he said in the press conference Saturday "it's just pain". Excuses are reserved for underachievers like Serge and Phil.

Do you like the 18 hole playoff, or would you rather have a British Open type 4 hole deal or sudden death?

I would prefer they get it over with (4 hole format), as me and most others will be working today.

if they are willing to go 71 holes and have it all decided on the 72nd hole then why not just have it all decided on the 73rd hole.

I was thinking the same thing. On 18 yesterday, he hit a good approach shot to the green and winced. Yesterday, he hit quite a few of his better drives and winced. On 13, when he pulled his 2nd shot into the junk, he didn't wince one bit. He just threw his club down in disgust.

I definitely don't think he's faking or playing it up. I definitely get sick of the media falling all over him, but that's not his fault. In fact, yesterday I think he figured out what swings he could and couldn't make without pain. He didn't seem to be in nearly as much pain on the later holes after he settled in and started hitting the shots he knew he could make with the least pain.

He doesn't sit around thinking up excuses. The commentators do that plenty for him.

But I am sure his knee is sore. However, his grimacing and posturing is just as much as about his ego as it is the pain in his knee . He has always made faces and pouted when he doesn't hit it down the middle every shot or happens to miss a putt.

No doubt he is one of the best. However, he doesn't have to act like a spoiled brat every time a shot doesn't go his way.

If Tiger is going to successfully pull off this "hurt knee" bs, quit saying things like, "it was a bad swing, the knee had nothing to do with me hitting into the hazard." Plus, who really believes he knee hurts anyway, I mean if he was placing torque on it then I would expect pain...but he's pretty much just standing there and swinging a golf club, and walking four or five miles during the round. You don't use a knee for that crap.
